Brazil is a spectacular country with a variety of phenomenons. Many of them are well known all over the planet. However, beyond these places, there is a world full of unexplored natural wonders and colonial traces.
Today I would like to show you one beautiful little town located in the Pireneus hills of Goiás state in the Central-West region of Brazil.
Welcome to Pirenópolis, the city with a soul.
This place, also known as the Piri, has a cobbled streets with houses built in a typical colonial architecture. Is full of restaurants, cafés, bars and pousadas (guest houses) where you can stay a night or couple of days. All around the town wait for you a lot of waterfalls and an incredible nature.
Pirenópolis is accessible by car within 2,5h from Brasília, the capital of the country.
Muito legal o seu post sobre essa cidade e ela parece ser bem bonita. Eu morei muito tempo em uma cidade pequena no interior de São Paulo onde as ruas era iguais a dessa cidade e também era cercada de cachoeiras. =) O que você mais gostou de lá?
Eu me apaixonei pela cidade já durante primeira visita. A cidade tem alma que se reflete na arquitetura colonial de casas, igrejas, infraestrutura municipal, etc. .
Pirenópolis é cheio de estátuas de boi coloridas. Cada ano acontece por lá uma “Festa do Divino Espírito Santo”.
Nossa que interessante essas estátuas de bois, gostei bastante delas. Eu sou do Vale do Paraíba, natural de São José dos Campos, mas morei em outas cidades da região. Hoje eu moro fora do país (Bulgária) mas volto sempre que posso. =)
Ah sim, agora muita coisa faz mas sentido hehe pois eu andei olhando o seus posts é claro e vi alguns na Eslováquia. Eu infelizmente só conheço Bratislava, visitei em 2017. Achei bem bonita a cidade e fica muito próximo a Viena também.
O cirílico no começo é realmente complicado mas uma vez que se acostuma é bem tranquilo. =)
