About 20km from Phan Thiet city, Vietnam to the east, on Huynh Thuc Khang street, is the position of Pink Stream. This is a small stream flowing through an area with pink sandstone hills.
The water in the stream is pink so it is called Pink Stream, the water is very shallow, the deepest place is about 20cm. We can wade in the stream easily, the more we go inside the more majestic scenes.
The stream is about 400m long, on one side is the houses of the countryside with small shops, on the other side is the wall of the top pink sandstone hills with many stone shapes and colors.
Every day the tourists come here quite crowded, walking in the cool water, watching the various sand hill scenes, we feel more interesting and forget all tiredness.
Thanks for sharing and the mention on the interesting post!
It seems that the location would be indeed be frequently visited, as somehow I could think that the location would be used as a set for a scene in a movie, am I correct, Doan? : ]
Untill now, I have not got the pleasure to visit the place yet, which must be done as soon as possible.
Hi @sonnyNg , @Aruni The landscape of a mountain ridge is pink like that, even though the sand mountain in the coastal area is rare in Vietnam. When I came here for the first time, I felt that it was like images on American cowboy movies … and I was thinking like you. Today, I have just read a document posted in the newspaper about 2 weeks ago, the content is like this: “… the television studio Buondless Production (UK) with the famous writer Farrel Catherine Jane Manning with two associates registering filming in Bau Trang, Suoi Hong, fishing village, Mui Ne sand dunes, Phu Hai wharf …”
We can hope to see these pictures appear on movies someday !
P / s: “Suoi Hong” is “Pink Stream”
