Hi fellow guides,
I know this sounds corny and borderline pretentious, but I love to travel! And I love to talk about it.
During my travels through India, I was awed by the mighty force of nature that built the Himalayas or the monsoonal forces that have been shaping the history of this subcontinent for centuries. This paradoxical force of Mother Nature has motivated me to pursue Geology as a research career.
As a local guide, I try to provide a version of my Himalayan expeditions. Over the last decade, I have participated in over 2 dozen Himalayan treks’ While some of these took me to remote hamlets, others took me to undiscovered valleys. I always make it a point to upload photographs of these rare places, which are seldom available in the interweb. I would say that the most interesting thing I have done as a local guide is the Soh
bar Trip in Meghalaya, Eastern Himalaya. In my google photos and other social platforms, one can hear the unheard tales of this remote valley nested in the Um Sohryngkew River River Basin, which interestingly enough, also holds evidence of the Mass Extinction that killed all the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago!
