Pictures are the stories, it helps people to see.

The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide: Uploaded Photos, the real beauty of a place.

I am a small-town girl, who knows almost every crooks and corner around her town. When I moved to Mumbai from my hometown 4 years back, I always had in my mind how I am going to manage in a city which is completely new to me. That time, being away from my family I used to click a lot of pictures of the places I used to visit and send it to my family to show the beauty of it. I remember once my mother said after looking all those pictures ‘I felt I was travelling with you while looking at the pictures’, it really touched me.

I was using Google Maps to find the directions that time but eventually, it gave me a direction. I love travelling and exploring new places but the most difficult task was (well, it is even now :p) to select a place which I would love. I realized there are so many people out there who need help in a city where they have not been before. I started taking photographs in a different style or I would say in an informative style.

I love uploading photos of every place I visit and I try to share as much information as I can.
I have uploaded 2,458 photos which have 1,917,413 views when I am writing this.
I aspire to upload more and more photos of the places I discover along my journey as I believe a single picture can speak a thousand words.

I love how being a Local Guide allows me to help people to explore, local business to grow. It motivates me to explore more, click more, review more.
When I click photos of every place/thing, my friends ask me why are you clicking these photos and I tell them “I am a Local Guide, I am helping people” :slightly_smiling_face:

Here are some photos I clicked from different places:

Feel free to have a look at the application guidelines and find some handy tips for creating an application post.
