I ve got 3000+ reactions in one of the pictures of a place I posted on google maps and in total around 11,000 reactions in all pictures I posted in Google maps
Although am still not sure how a random picture I clicked drawing thousands of reactions and millions of views and there are many pictures better than this one have less than 100 views and no reactions at all.

What does the green bushes text say? That might give you a hint. Some nice photos get promotes to also represent the local city or state.

Vrindavan. This can explain the many reactions.
But there is a problem. Vrindavan is a city and uploading photos to an area is not allowed. Please check which place you uploaded the photo to. There needs to be an Add photo or video link or button for it to be okay.

Dear @MortenCopenhagen what’s written on bushes is Kripalu (someone who’s kind), and the city is Vrindavan which is a holy town in Uttar Pradesh, northern India. The Hindu deity Krishna is said to have spent his childhood here.
