Piazza della Signoria

Piazza della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio, it’s like a civic square for Florence.

The Renaissance masters were good at manipulating your eyes and creating optic illusions. Today I gave it a go my way of forced perspective!

We visited Florence a few years ago - finally, we saw Michelangelo’s David.

Thanks for sharing @OliverKIWI . My wife and I have been to Florence several times and is our most visited place in Italy. It is very nice and indeed, the Piazza della Signoria.

Have you watched the movie, Hannibal, with Anthony Hopkins. I’m sure you would enjoy as there are many scenes of Florence as it was set there. I don’t recommend your children watch it.

@TheEagleEye I’ve seen the movie, but I will dig it out and check again, my memory is fading… You like movies, me too. We should have a movie section here in the forum LOL!

@OliverKIWI I’ve been working on some material for movie idea. I enjoy movies when I have time to relax with the family. I’m sure you will enjoy watching Hannibal again.
