Physalis Berries...truly amazing..must try.

Just had a few Physalis Berries after lunch and they were truly a delight. These berries are also known as Cape Gooseberries or Golden Berries.

They have a bitter-sweet taste to them and are one of a kind. It’s an acquired taste so maybe not to everyone’s liking.

They come enclosed in a light brown husk and look like lanterns. Love how they look and the taste too.

Yes do take a picture, it will be nice to see it growing on a plant. I have never seen it on a plant before. I have taken a close up picture. They were size of a strawberry, so not that big.

Wow, that is small and cute. And it’s so sweet of you to click the picture and post it for me and others to see.

I guess when it turns brown, its ripe and time to pick and try.

Thanks once again, very grateful
