Phu Quoc island is stunning and eco-friendly

I had my first trip to this gorgeous island last January with my three best girls. And you know, there is nothing more hilarious than a group of your buddies traveling together!

Since none of my friends really have any experiences on a self-guided trip, I am (again) the planner.

One of the best things about the island is how eco-friendly it is. ALL the restaurants we have been to serve paper straws and non-plastic cutleries. How cool is that?

I could not bring my full-kit of metal straws and spoons on this trip, and these places gave me relief.

Beaches are magnificent!

Of course. What else can you expect from a “Pearl island”?

Don’t worry. Beaches photos you see on the internet are mostly telling true! The beaches are beautiful and crystal clear, you can see the sand and rocks from up on the cable car.

Just enjoy the beach, they are the best. Remember to leave nothing but your footprint.

Besides beaches, there not really impressive things here.
You can go to SunWorld and Vinpearl (like I did) to explore for a while. But I don’t think they are enough to attract returners.

Awesome resorts and Phu Quoc Eco-lodge is one of them

Okay okay I’m a bit biased since this place is eco-friendly. But hey! It should be our top concern wherever we go! Keep your traveling as much clean as possible! As I am tired of typing for now, here is my honest review for the resort on Google Maps:

By the way, the owner of resort picked us at the airport on a pickup truck when he was wearing a tanktop. I think you may wanna know.

On our first dinner, we were lazy to go out of the resort so we order one set of grilled seafood here. They said each set serves 2 people. And because we were a bit full after our afternoon snacks, we decided to just order one set for 4 of us. But you know what? We could hardly finish that set! There were so many that we had to take a break and got back later to eat them all!
