Hello LG"s,

As everyone is aware, our Maharashtrian culture is rich in festivals and celebrations that are held on grand scales, bringing people together to celebrate their beloved holidays. One such festival is the Lord Ganpati festival, which is held in Maharashtra and involves the placement of statues of Ganpati Pratima in homes for varying lengths of time: 1.5 days, 7 days, or 15 days. In my Khed Konkan region, on that particular occasion, all family members who were able to leave the hamlet gathered together to celebrate and worship Lord Ganesh in their homes.Our marketplaces are likewise brimming with decorations for that enormous holiday.On that day, a lot of small businesses that sell decorative items open booths.

There are lots of decorative items, including Ganpati statues, pooja sahitya, lighting, and music systems. Small businesses like fruit and flower stores also have a lot of inventory.There are many small local businesses in our market in Khed City. In order to encourage local business ideas, our fellow local guide @AjitThite dada suggested that the idea of a photo walk meetup during the Ganpati festival in konkan market. So we conduct this photowalk meetup at Khed City on occasion of the Ganpati festival.

In this meetup, we will :

  • Visit some small businesses in khed city market.
  • Take photographs of decorative items and festival stuffs.
