Hi @michel89320

I took a look at your public photos.

We are requested to only make minor adjustments to our photos. Removing all colors can not be considered a minor adjustment. Also, adding an artistic frame is beyond what is considered acceptable. Often you are adding redundant photos also. Just changing the zoom or angle is not sufficient.

Please, note I’m not trying to criticize your work but I’m trying to help you.

You have uploaded 2106 images and only 1500 are public. As I can not see your hidden photos, the markings might help you understand better what kinds of photos do trigger the filter.

Best of luck

Morten

Regarding your signature, the guidelines mention that we can add one relevant line of text along one side. You could test if moving your name closer to one side would reduce the problem with hidden images.

Cheers

To better understand the explanation given by @MortenCopenhagen please read the Tips for posting media to Maps

Just to give you an example when you are posting the same photo also in b&w you are violating at least two rules:

  • You are posting a duplicate, because in fact the photo is the same
  • You are violating the rules about the Stylistic Adjustment: Avoid adding elements such as borders, text, or collaged images. And also_: Keep media real. Using filters is OK as long as the media still provides a clear, accurate depiction of the place. Avoid heavy filters_.

You are taking great photos, but this is not enough. Even if a photo has been taken on the place, the photo should represent the place as it is, without altering the appearance.

Of course you can appeal, if you find that the removal was not correct.

To do that please read: Appeal Maps user-generated content policy enforcement actions

Before to appeal please take into consideration what I wrote before, because after the appeal an operator will check your account, and if they find the points highlighted before the result can also be the opposite of what you are expecting: the removal of more contents, or the ban feom the local guides program of your account
