This is special Nigerian meal that’s is eaten whether at parties or at home. It is always a delight.

Firstly, a stew is prepared using blended tomatoes, pepper and allowed to cook till it’s stew-like and seasoning is added. Then, turkey broth is added to the stew and let to cook well. You’ll add your parboiled rice and some water. Keep adding water till the rice is soft and cooked. Don’t forget to stir well.

Your Jollof rice is ready.

There’s fried plantain as well. You just get your fry pan on fire and add some vegetable oil to the pan. Peel your plantain and slice it in either round shapes or slant shapes like the one in the pic. Fry till it’s golden in colour.

Your fried plantain is ready. Serve with cooked beans, jollof rice, fried rice, or fried eggs. Of course get a drink to complete your enjoyment.
