Hi @Lezovi , nice photos, thank you for sharing them! I have never seen an owl that close, is it common to see them in that garden?

We would love to read more about the photos, I recommend you read 14 helpful tips for using Connect to learn how to create the most informative and engagement inducing posts that Local Guides love so much.

The post Uploading a photo on Connect? Read these guidelines first also explains all about captions, which are really important for Connect’s accessibility, it would be great if you could check it out too

Thank you for answering @Lezovi , you were very lucky to see the owl then. And don’t worry, I can perfectly understand your answer. I also apologize for any mistakes I can make, English isn’t my native language either.

I’m glad you appreciate the advice, there are many great posts on the Help Desk board that can help you become a great Local Guide in different aspects. To read the rules of the program would be good too, even if you had read them before I think there’s nothing wrong with a reminder to make sure you are following them, I read them again from time to time. I say that as long as you are following the rules and trying to make your contributions the best they can possibly be, you’re already a very good Local Guide.

I think that having fun while contributing makes it better. So even though it isn’t so related to how good of a Local Guide you are, I recommend you attend meet-ups in your area if you aren’t doing it already, and keep reading posts here in Connect and if you like them let the author know, tell them what did you like and just have a conversation. It’s really fun to meet other people doing the same thing around the world and in your own country
