I have had a interest in photography for many years. I love capturing a moment.
Growing up my dad was always the dad with the video camera. He had a Panasonic VHS camcorder. He captured birthdays, Christmas and just every other thing in between.
In 1999 I got a Sony 8MM camera and started capturing things myself. This camcorder went with me on just about every road trip.
I also got had a Olympus 35MM camera to shoot the stills along the way.
Fast forward to years later, I am still doing the same. The camera goes with my on every road trip. Now, things are combined. I can shot 1080p video and 12 MP photos all in one. It is truly amazing how far we have come.
I like capturing the trip, but more, I like capturing the getting there. They say getting there is half the fun. I live by this mantra. I enjoy taking the back roads to find unique things and capture those little things that you wouldn’t see zooming down the interstate at 70.
