It seems that there is a bad connection somewhere in the software or something. I have over 100k views on my photos. My badge should have changed to the next level for photography. When I open the badge for details it is stuck at 89k on views and not updating. Anyone?

It takes some days to sync real view count and photo numbers with the badge. Even one week is normal in this case. Also sometimes because of system issues this may take more but don’t worry, Finally it will sync and you’ll get your new badge.

Relax @Adam_lee_35 … Views may change if a photo is deleted or for other reasons. Keep contributing and that is the only thing in your control.

Your experience is nothing unusual. I have had similar experience.
Thing is, you have nothing to worry about. Just stay calm and continue your Local Guide duty.
Sometimes, it shows that you have a certain figure of views on your dashboard but shows lesser figure on your public profile.
Oftentimes, your public profile shows gives the accurate representation of your approved points. Since your dashboard is automatically credited after the action.
So, just like I said earlier, keep up at what you do. Your reward is on the way!

@Adam_lee_35 This is very normal. Initially you will see the results. After a bit of time, the system catches up and updates our badges and points.
Give this a look sometime.

Upload your photos.You will see the numbers change on your personal profile.

Then look at the numbers under your local guide badge (orange button). You will see that the numbers are slightly different.

In about 2 weeks time, those numbers under your local guide badge will change/ be updated. So, those photos that you took will take some time to be properly updated. Seems that there is a bit of a lag time.
You will also notice this as well when you update a new place. You may get a notice saying that the place may be added immediately; however, the number under your level badge may take a few days to adjust.
Essentially, remain patient. The system is working. The system has a lot of work. As there are many contributions being made daily. Each addition has to be sorted and checked essentially.
