Perhaps my favorite thing to share on Google Maps is photos. I’ve got a background with taking professional photos for work and this feature allows a really nice crossover of a passion, and my deep joy of sharing places with others. And what other way to decide what you want to do than looking at a picture?
My spouse and I go camping quite frequently, and on every trip I go on I bring my dslr and snap away. Sharing photos of landscapes and campsites from public lands can help individuals decide where they want to go and what they want to experience on a trip; wether it be for camping, hiking, or just a nice family getaway.
It’s my privilege to use Google Maps to share my experiences in the Texas state parks system, and I’ll continue to do so long into the future.
