We some friends arrange a photo walk of old city of Lahore there are a very unique and colorful Market exists It is called waan (Twine) Market.waan is a rope of different types used for making traditional Beds (Charpai).

waan Market is situated adjacent to Kasaira Bazaar.It is highly congested old Bazaar of Lahore only Bike can go in the narrow streets of this bazaar.

This market is almost 200 years old. This market deals in waan,Seba,(patsan rope) Plastic rope waan and all kind of stuff used in making traditional beds (Charpai).

Also traditional Peerhay, chokies and other stuff like chabian (organic Plates made of Date tree leaves) are available here.

Charpai knitting takes 2 to 3 hours but this charpai us special it will take 5 to 6 hours
