The Nankana Sahib district is a small town almost 70 km via Newly built M3 Motorway from Lahore
The old name of town was Talvandi Rai Bhoe Ki .A muslim rajput of the Bhatti clan, Rai Bulaar, the chief of Talvandi, was a contemporary of Guru Nanak.
So today we went in Nankana on the invitation of 18 Generation of Rai Bulaar Bhatti .
Rai bulaar Bhatti donate half of his agriculture land almost 18500 Acres to Guru Nanak Dev Sahib

1-Gurdwara Janam Asthan
The Most important and biggest Gurudawara of Nankana also known as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib
Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib, also known as Gurdwara Janam Asthan, It is on the place of
Guru nanak’s parents Mehta Kalyan Das’ (also known as Metha Kalu) and Mata Tripta,It is to be said that Guru Nanak was born on this palace.
A room was first built here by Guru Nanak’s son, or grand son.The Gurdwara was established in the end of the 16th century.Gurdwara Sri Bal Lila Sahib
Very near to Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Sri Bal Lila Sahib was built by Rai Bular Bhatti the ruler of the village. It was village playground, where young Nanak physical games but to lead them as holy man.

About 1.5 kilometres to the east of Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan, reminds
an event connected with the early years of Guru Nanak. While tending his father’s herd of cattle,
it was common for him to let the animals roam freely while he himself sat in meditation.
Once a Farmer complained to Rai Bular that Nanak’s cattle had damaged the crop in his field, but when the field was inspected, no damage was discovered.
The people considered it a miracle and that particular field came to be reverently called Kiara Sahib
This Gurdwara also has a large Sarovar which has been dried now5-Gurdwara Sri Mal Ji Sahib
This Gurdwara stands about one and a half kilometres east of Gurdwara Janam Asthan.
