The Photographer badge says one value(987374) the main Contribution page gives me a another value(1010712) why do they differ? That’s quite a gap.
Hello @IVIik
I think it’s a matter of synchronisation. They are both correct. It does take sometime for the server to get the points updated.
Sometimes, depending on the frequency of your contributions and views it keeps trying to update and the views keeps increasing etc. It may eventually not be able to catch up. That’s what I think.
Happy guiding

Hi @IVIik ,
First’of all my heartiest congratulations to you on reaching almost 1M view of your photos. This shows the great impact of your contribution.
Secondly, yes such differences remain there as it takes sometime to review and make your photos public by Google.
Here, in Photo 1 as you have shared shows the views post Google review, when It is made available to public and it takes sometime to update.
In Photo 2 as you shared in your post, it shows the real time instant data the moment you upload the photos and hence you might see the higher number which gets updated to your account after Google reviews.
So, nothing to worry, just be patient and wait for a day or so, it will get automatically updated to 1M views.

JAI HO!!!
While I was typing your response came @SholaIB .
You are quite helpful.
Total views is more than only photo views. The extra views are from review views, views of places added, and more.
This is how it is
All the best

Hello @MortenCopenhagen ,
All-time Photo views just contain the number of photo views. As it is mentioned on the screenshot of Photo 2 in my response to @IVIik .
However, you might be referring to ‘Your Contributions Views’ , which contains all other contributions views such as photos, reviews, places added and many others.

JAI HO!!!
Yes, I was too quick. I thought incorrectly that the issue was related to total views vs photo views.
Badge statistics are updated only once a week (or less frequently). This explains what you reported. Give it some time.

Cheers for the replies all. I assumed it must be a sync thing. Nice to have that confirmed.
