Photo viewed most sorted by view showing different result

Dear Localguides,

I am facing a confusing situation at present. While I search in my profile to see which one is my most viewed photo, I see one photo. But when someone else searches to see which one is my most viewed photo they see another photo. I am confused about why it is happening. You can see my profile link here. Can anyone tell me the reason and solution? Please see below two photos to get a clear idea.

The photo which everyone sees as my most viewed photo:

Please see the video of what I see in this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/pSfaSMQ9RgXrbULVA

Thanks in advance for your nice cooperation.

Hi @MukulR

When I look at your public profile I see your “Japanese” photo as the most viewed pic.

I suspect that the other one has been made private so only you can see it. That can explain what you are experiencing.

I have written about hidden pics in this post.

Try comparing your lists of most viewed photos on your desktop in a normal versus an incognito window/tab. In the incognito window you will see your public profile.

Thanks for your nice comments @MortenCopenhagen As per your post How great a local guide are you? I agree with you that the photo that I see as my most viewed has definitely been flagged private. Thanks for removing my confusion. REgards.

If it is nor clear to you why your hidden photo was made private, please upload it to Connect and share it in a reply together with a link to the place you uploaded it to on Google Maps. Maybe we can spot the cause for you.

Cheers

I guess why it has been made as private @MortenCopenhagen The photo we are talking about is the building of the Ministry of Agriculture. In the same building, there are other two ministries also. So I have added photos of the same building (maybe in different angles) for three ministries. I guess this is the reason of making it private. What do you think? Regards.

@MukulR

That could very well be the reason.
