Photo disappearing

Last week I add a missing place to map. When I was adding, I also submit photos of that place. Yesterday, place got accepted but photo were not there. So I checked the photo section but that didn’t helped, it was also disappeared from that section too. Can anybody help this problem? I know that it 24hrs after accepting the place to be in the map but where is the photo I taken. It should shows in the photo section, right? Here is the link. I took kind of four or five pictures. Now there is only one .

Hi @Rahul001

Since the place was not in existence, the photos must have got labelled to some “Unknown place”.
At the same time, you can get some more clues from this earlier thread.

I can understand that, we can add photos and some more information while adding new place.

but if your place is accepted and uploaded picture is not showing so i suggest you to wait for sometimes.

because it takes 24-48 hrs to be updated on it.

Hi @Rahul001 with photos you just have to wait a bit longer than a day, for all of them to appear as others mentioned. You can view them from your contribution on your profile under photos. If they were not delayed by internet connection during the upload, they will appear there on your contribution under photos.

Let us know if they appear or not after 48 hours @Rahul001

They didn’t reappear on that place or the photo section after 48hrs @PaulPavlinovich

I have made a post that my photos got deleted. It’s been a week and still it didn’t shows up. @PaulPavlinovich

A warm welcome to Local Guides Connect Community.
Please go to your gallery. and then click on Hidden album, If your missing photos were there. you can move them to another album. For example, Public Album.

Some of your contributions may be marked private if they do not adhere to our policies (reviews, photos and videos, community). Photos that are low-quality or duplicate in nature may be removed by our internal filters.

Hello @Rahul001

A photo is very much there along with the review.
That now appears to be similar to another complaint “Photos visible to the public but not to the reviewer”!

However, I have one observation.
The photo of the new POI chosen by you may be the right one.
Nevertheless, a working dairy farm warrants a still better photo, showing some cattle or dairy equipment.

I don’t think that photos are low quality or duplicate of that place.

When you’re uploading from mobile @Rahul001 is it possible you’ve got “upload only over wifi” turned on but you don’t have any wifi connection?
