Just Enjoying The Mesmerizing View Of PHE PHE
On our third day road trip to Cherrapunji via Dawki we visited Phe Phe Falls. It is located on the west Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya. Among all the waterfalls in this region I believe Phe Phe has the most beautiful natural view, landscapes and hills.
This fall is a bit inside and you have to pay Rs30/person but the view Worth it. You can drive or bring bike but till a certain point. Then a 25-30m trek to reach and another 30m walk to return. So it might be difficult for older people. Firstly remember there are two entry point for this waterfall. We take left from THIS LOCATION.
There are some local shops operated by local Khasi people. And remember prices are a bit high for regular products, but they have some necessary products. They are so nice and helpful. There is a boy who help us a lot.
ONE IMPORTANT THING is please be careful if you are visiting with car or bike… don’t take it too far downhill… because the area is so slippery and your vehicle may be stuck…Same thing happened to us and we struggled for 20m.

We were scared. But a little boy came and tried his best by bringing dry soil, broken bricks and logs. With great difficulty we managed to get our car back. So we rewarded him and his sis. Thank you and please share your thoughts on it.
