A Petrol pump is a facility that sells fuel and engine lubricants for motor vehicles. In British ascent it is known as Petrol Pump while in American ascent it is known as Gas Station.
On Google Maps while adding a Petrol Pump the category Gas Station should be choose but maximum people didn’t know about about the British and American ascents and while adding a Petrol Pump on Google Maps they choose the category Petroleum Products Company which is a totally different category. By which on searching petrol pumps on Google Maps many of the business didn’t show in the results.
I have suggested and changed the categories of so many Petrol Pumps whose category was Petroleum Products Company. But to overcome this problem completely I need a help.
I request all that if anybody is adding a Petrol Pump on Google Maps then please select the category Gas Station instead of Petroleum Products Company. And please I also suggest Google Maps team to make an another category of Petrol Pump because in India Petrol Pumps and Gas Station are different things.
