Hello fellow Guides!

I need advice and how I should manage my account.
I’ve got a personal Google/Local Guide account that is currently at level 6.

Recently starting a photography and virtual tour business, I’ve posted client photos to Google Street View.

I got the 50+ 360-images posted on my personal account and got the email that I am an approved photographer, but because of the revamp I cannot get the badge.
So here are my questions.

  1. With complete silence about the google street view revamp and how much longer it will take, should I continue using my personal account and grow the level? (2. Is there any way for me to join a private group and follow the proposed changes?)

  2. Or should I prioritize my new business (new account) and start raising that level?

  3. Is there any way to merge the two?

I’d like to have my business develop more credibility as being an authorized google street view photographer, yet not sure what the best approach would be.

I have partly responded to your questions on my reply to your previous post.

Here there are more questions, so let see one by one:

Account: according to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions “Contributions to Google Maps must originate from a single Google account to count towards benefits and cannot be transferred between owned accounts”. It means that you can use ONLY one account, and accounts cannot be merged.

Thank you for letting me know!
I was not aware that businesses were not allowed to have their own account and represent their own logo.

This does make the experience more “human” as its a person leaving reviews and uploading pictures and not a separate business entity.
