Permission rejecting by owner

Hello I have been having a doubt for many days when adding a location I have to ask permission so I can tell them how to understand I asked 2-5 members but they said no they can not tell me how to tell them how to understand I can tell them how.

One more doubt is what kind of places they need permission to add to which places without taking permission.

Hello @user_not_found

Let me sharing in my humble opinion about your doubt.

First at all you not only one about rejected permission from owners place that I try to contribution as local guide on Google maps.

Local guide is voluntary program and not all business owner know very well about this, the best things I try to explain to owner about my contribution. But if still doesn’t work it’s okay don’t force your self. Respect to owner. Many other places we can contribute.

So keep enjoying as local guide

Thank you !

Hi @user_not_found

It is not super clear what you are asking.

To add a place on Google Maps does not require a permission from the business owner. You do not own places you add to the map. Such places can later be claimed by the owner should they wish to do so.

Does that answer your doubts?

If not please share an example.

Cheers

Morten

Hi again @user_not_found

I just looked at your profile. You have reviewed your own graphics design business listed [here.](http://RAKSHI%20EDITS OFFICIALS https://maps.app.goo.gl/MUb1cmUsKE2bW7mS6).

This is very much a violation of the guidelines for Local Guides.

According to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions
Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program. So we should never mix commercial interests with those of being an independent/volunteer Local Guide.

You need to delete your own 5-star review of your own business asap. I fear you will be suspended from the program soon for this conflict of interest. Any other mix up you have made should also be removed.

Best of luck

Morten

Hi @user_not_found ,

Thanks for reaching out.

However I don’t think I follow what your query is about as well. Could you, please elaborate further?

Also, please follow the advice given above and bear in mind that participating in the Local Guides program as brand, organization or business and not an individual is a violation of our program rules. t’s important Local Guides to contribute content as unbiased individuals.

To keep Connect organized I will change the topic of your post to How-tos. This is the place where you can ask questions, share tips and feedback about Connect and the Local Guides program.
