Permalinks not working in Announcements and Help Desk

Would you care to take a look at this:

If you on a desktop go to

https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Announcements/New-year-new-features-to-connect-with-your-community/ba-p/3157389

Scroll down and select Permalink for one of the replies, then the screen reloads and the new URL is shown at the top, but the browser does now jump down to the selected reply.

And when the new deep URL is pasted into a new tab or browser only the opening post is shown. The cursor jump down to the selected reply does not happen.

There are no problems in How-to, Photography, etc. Maybe it is associated with those sections with long pages.
