That said, sometimes perks are available and it will vary from time to time and from region to region. It depends on who the Google partners are. We are always working in finding new perks and promotions that can be interesting for the community. There may also be special and/or early access to Google features. You can read more about it on the official support page Get Organized.
Keep in mind, Local Guides is a voluntary program and many people participate in it because they want to be able to help others via the Google Maps platform. You can read more - “Why be a Local Guide?”

Even though Local guides is a voluntary program, but it will be nice to have atleast some perks such as youtube premium subscription or google one storage.
It keeps us further motivated to contribute more.

Hello! I got a perk recently, ordered it, got a confirmation of my order via email, but never received it! Everywhere that I’ve checked (FAQ page, replying to email) says the perk has expired (obviously) and the email says there is no way to track my package. It said it could take 6-8 weeks but I ordered it on 20 October!! Anyone have any idea what’s going on?
Not sure, but I don’t believe Google sells perks. Never heard about it at least.
