I love to travel, experience new things, have an adventure and sample new culture. Most of all I like to tell a good story. As much I wish I could bring along everyone to experience my adventures…well that is not possible. Or is it? Virtually now it is with google maps and the best pert of it that I get to leave notes(reviews) here and there as I do it. Here is how and why becoming a maps local guide became just about one of my hobbies.
As I said earlier I love to tell a good story but what is more satisfying is when the story actually helps someone else have a lovely experience. Hence I decided to become a local guide, to be able to point out new awesome places to visit activities to do and interact with other google maps users by answering their questions about places. I felt it was my little way of helping everyone’s experience to be more pleasant as they visit new places and try out new things. I also felt I could use it to expose lovely small businesses that deserve to be known and have a chance out there. Most of all being able to help people plan ahead well for their trips based on accurate knowledge, trust me that makes a big difference.
Lets keep sharing people and help each other have the best experiences when exploring our communities. Remember sharing is caring, don’t keep an awesome discovery all to yourself. Tell it and help others experience your great adventure on google maps.
