Hello everyone.
In my entire lifetime (so far though I m not 60 ) I never thought I will cook anything worth mentioning let sharing it on global platform.
there is a say NEVER SAY NEVER so here i m presenting the most perfectly round chapatti. Though I never imagined making it even in my dreams let alone in reality
I m just trying to stay positive during this unfortunate lockdown instead of cribbing about it. And trust me all can re explore their long left hobbies, habits, can try something new, different.
I tried and I achieved what I aspire for and trust me making perfect round chapatti was not a cake walk for me but i m happy with my end product
CHAPATTI adds sentimental and nutritional value in Indian household
This food item is like an staple in most Indian household s though shape, size, recipe of it keeps changing according to the place
Generally itβs made of wheat flour (gehu aata) but off lately due to various reasons including health mostly people mix it with juwaar, bajra, raagi, sattu flour as make chapatti.
Chapatti adds more volume to the main food as its wholesome and can b eat as it is or with pickle, different chutney, vegetables, gravy what not.
Bachlors like me make wraps, rolls with it as well
One can b very creative while making it.
For example with wheat flour mix zeera, bit of turmeric powder, rock salt, red chilli powder and any available green leafy vegetables like methi, spinach mix it well make thick chapati ( thick paratha, or chilla, roti, naan) and have it with curd or pickle

Wheat flour
Rock salt
Taza ghee (optional)
Make round chapatti on chawka with belan and pre heat non sticky tawa and heat the chapatti and once its fully cooked put a dash of taza ghee on it for extra fragrance and taste
