People Mover uses alot in downtown Detroit - cheap .75© and fast - it comes and goes every 5 minutes. It takes you from one destination to others relatively fast compare to walking or driving. This will also give you a better perspective of the Detroit City views because you sit high above the ground. I took this pic from my office at 12th floor building.

Nice snap of the people mover from an elevation - I could see for the first time they have painted its roof as well 
I was quite fascinated by seeing it for the first time during my visit to Detroit and could not take my eyes off for I have never seen a railway traveling overhead except for bridges.
So as you said it goes every five minutes, I stood on the streets waiting for 5 minutes for another to pass by and took this shot, back in 2008:

@TusharSuradkar it looks like on Jefferson Ave, by the Riverwalk or close by the famous GM renaissance building?
I love walking to the RiverWalk during lunch time for 45 minutes, it’s not too far from my building.
