Pennington Flash is a nice country nature reserve. I have been to this place a few times now, and the first time I went, I saw a lot of wild birds on the huge lake, such as swans, Canadian geese, seagulls, and coots.
So the next time I visited, I brought them some food. A few people have told me in the past that swans are very aggressive and a bite from them will break a finger or arm, and that geese are even worse; in fact, geese have the nickname Cobra Chicken because they are so aggressive.
Well, I love animals, and animals always seem to be friendly with me, as you will see from the many videos I have filmed on my YouTube channel. So anyway, I took the birds some food and thought, I wonder if I could hand feed the swans and geese, would I end up with a broken hand?
The answer was no, in fact, they were very friendly. It was kind of funny, to be honest, as a number of people, from dog walkers to tourists at the lake, started to take photos of me because the swans and geese were so friendly with me and were both eating out of my hand.
The park is free to visit but there is a parking charge and at my last visit there was some constriction work going on as they were building a new café but that should be complete now.
