Hello, Community!
I submitted a road edit on Google Maps 4 days ago to improve navigation in our area, but it’s still pending approval. This update is important to avoid confusion or wrong directions.

Hello @Aravindchaudhari, unfortunately many road edits are not approved at all or it takes up to 90 days until accepted or rejected(!). This has been discussed many times here on connect. As a starting point you might want to read @MortenCopenhagen’s series of articles: Manual for Road Editors.

Yes. I’ve also noticed edit are pending for at least a week before being approved. This wasn’t the case before it would be accepted within hours.

Yes, I also noticed similar issues or delays! I recently spoke with @AbdusSattar about this issue. He also noticed this. I think, if this issue is solved, we will be more encouraged to add roads.

I had the opportunity to talk directly with “googlers” last week and I have highlighted how we all DO BELIEVE in what we are doing but a little of more attention from their side could encourage us more.

Unfortunately this problem is existing since the 2023 (I’m sure is/was always existing but we were not aware). When I come back on the 14th I started again to draw new roads but despite all my efforts till today NO APPROVALS. and this is really discouraging.

I’m always positive and hoping for a solution or at least an answer but I keep drawing anyway. I can’t image were my numbers could arrives if all is smooth.

We are on it TRAC Campaign @MarcoDavoli

But the issue is not approved Road so I raised.
