Pekan Meru, Klang - A Local Village, Now Town of the Past and Present

It is used to be known as a “midroad” or “a small trading village” dealing with rubber and palm oil products supported by plantation fields 2 generations ago. The village activities are plantation and local farming.

Today this village has become a town supporting the local residence, where it is now a manufacturing base for a lot of newly formed companies.

Still a “midroad” town, catering for people traveling to the north, this town still connects to the northern region of this state (Selangor).
