Pedra do Castelo fica a 20km de Castelo do Piauí e 190km de Teresina. É uma formação rochosa descoberta na época colonial e contém pinturas rupestres pre-historicas. O local foi sacralizado pela comunidade local e é comum a presença de velas e oferendas. É aberto ao público e possui guias locais. Há um mirante onde podemos ver a vegetação da região, formada por caatinga e cerrado.
Pedra do Castelo looks like an interesting historical site to visit @Jorgellf and thank you for sharing. I love visiting places like this, epecially when you can actually enter and while there cast yuor mind back to its earliest inhabitants or occupiers. It reminds me a lot of my time spent discovering the cavesin Cappadocia, the historical region in Central Anatolia, Turkey.

Is this a famous destination among locals and tourists? Is there a place close to this area where one can have something to eat?
The sixth picture reminded me a bit of the Prohodna Cave in Bulgaria.
