I would like to share some impressions from visiting Crimea some days ago.
Crimea is a Peninsula on the Black sea.Incredibly beautiful., here you can relax, get an unforgettable experience, it’s clean air, a special climate, it’s slender cypresses, juniper forests, a gentle azure sea, incredible mountains, each of which has its own legend. Healing air, mineral waters, therapeutic mud make this resort attractive for vacationers., give health. And what a beautiful nature here, the natural landscape, many historical monuments, palaces of famous princes and patrons.

The unique shapes of mountain Karadag and Demerji are mind -blowing.
The beauty of picturesque bays and hills in New Svyet is captivating. Nikitsky Botanical garden will impress with number of species of plants. Crimean heritage is an impressive. There are remnants of the cave towns, such as Mangup, Chufut-Kale.
In Crimea we can watch splendid palaces as—Massangra, Livadiya, Alupka and “Swallow’s Nest”
Sevastopol-it is a city, which is called open -air museum. On my photos you can see Palace “Swallow’s Nest”
Swallow’s nest" is a kind of emblem of the Crimea. it is located in the village of Gaspra., on a steep rock, on the edge of a cliff, and resembles a medieval castle with elegant towers. Inside-furniture with wood carvings, bronze sconces, ceiling with dragons, all this creates a romantic atmosphere. The Palace is used for exhibitions.
Mount Ayu-Dag, known as Bear mountain.Located in the village of Partenit. The shape of the mountain resembles a bear with its head in the water. This mountain is a failed volcano. Magma could not come to the surface and froze, gladdened the domed top. The area of the mountain is 5.5 square km. on the mountain there are unique relict plants in the forest. Ayu-Dag is a state reserve.
The legend of this mountain is very interesting. It occurred from the distant past, on this mountain bears were really introduced. Very long ago, according to legend, the bears left the Peninsula, but one decided to stay. He stayed forever because he loved the girl. Here is a legend about Bear mountain. Once upon a time there was a girl in a herd of bears, she had lived among them since childhood. The girl sang beautifully and was very nice. The bears loved her. Once a girl met a young man who found himself on this island after a shipwreck. The girl took care of him.They fell in love. Once a young man wanted to sail to his own country and take a girl with him.When the bears went hunting, the young people decided to sail away on a built boat. When the Bears returned, they saw that the girl was not there, and went to the shore. The leader began to drink water to bring the boat to the shore.The girl decided to sing the Bears listened to her singing, and the leader continued to drink water from the sea.He froze. Since then, the bear has been lying on the beach with its muzzle in the sea.

Crimea is always eager to welcome it’s visitors, to share it’s riches with them, give them the joy of new discoveries and adventure.
I really loved reading your story about Crimea and the legends about it. While I was studying in China, I had a classmate who is from Yalta. My friend also shared lots of wonderful stories about this region.
