Peace in the Mountains of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

Bike rides in the mountains are a bliss.

So, recently I visited Rishikesh. Walked down some valleys and total “Washing beneath the bridges and Springing into early life” feels, totally indescribable! In the midst of it, I got to connect with the locals which made me the happiest. They treated me as their own little child which touched my heart! On the very first day, I went for white water rafting for a little bit adventure and thrill! The cliff jumping in the last was the highlight and how can I forget, Maggi point?! The most satisfying feeling is having Maggi with a view. I guess, you people agree? Being a foodie, I tried the local cuisine which was an add on to my trip. The love pahadi people pour on to tourists is commendable. They welcomed me as if I was their own child.

The second day, I decided to go for the very famous Ganga Aarti. So calm and peaceful. The scene was beautiful. Everyone was chanting the aarti in devotion. This was a first time experience for me.

Seeking the blessings of the almighty.

For me, being a local guide, is so fortunate and I live by experimentation and exploration. The love I recieve when I’m local guiding is much more than any materialistic thing could hardly give!
