Pasta With Grilled Vegetables

A particular kind of pasta with vegetables I have talked about in the past are orecchiette with broccoli. Now it’s the time of pasta with grilled vegetables.

A very simple recipe involving fresh tomatoes and grilled vegetables. And as the dish is ordered in an Italo-Chinese restaurant: also some spicy flavor added just in order to make the recipe even more divine.

@Diste in one of the various Italo-Chinese restaurants of Milan. These restaurants are managed by Chinese people who also cook Italian food. They generally cook it very well and at a cheaper price than those of Italian restaurants (also many Egyptians here do the same: great Italian food but honest prices). To be honest, maybe I even like many of their dishes more than those of Italian restaurants: for example if I want to eat a really spicy pasta with arrabbiata sauce, I can ask it in an Italo-Chinese restaurants, as they have also their local Chinese spicy peppers. Italian restaurants, instead, make it not much spicy, as Italian people generally don’t like very high levels of spicyness, and so they don’t even keep much spicy peppers. At the end I like both, but if Italo-Chinese restaurants make you pay half the price an Italian restaurant would, and it is able to provide much higher level of spicy ness when talking about Italian recipes involving use of peppers (I am a spicy-holic person, in fact also Hunan and Sichuanese dishes are among my favorite in Chinese cuisine as well), I obviously prefer going to these places. Most Chinese and Egyptians here are really good at preparing Italian dishes you wouldn’t even notice the difference with a “true” Italian restaurant.
