I am passionate about adding new startup businesses on the map. I sometimes explain on how Google Maps work to the person in charge and later ask permission to take photos and videos of the place to upload later using WiFi once Google Maps approved my edit. And from the looks of their faces I understand that they like the whole Google Maps idea. And the first thing people ask is “How much do you charge?”. And after telling them it is 100% free the next question they ask is “Well, if it is free, what’s in it for you?”. I tell them I do it because I like to help small startup businesses to be out there on the digital world. To be visible. To reach millions of people. Many are happy after hearing about how Google Maps work. And many are willing to pay before I tell them it is completely free.
