PASSIKUDA is famous for its golden beach and the clear, shallow waters in which you can wade 50 m out to sea. It is a virgin beach and renowned throughout the Sri Lanka for its beauty.
If you are a scuba diver, then there are some excellent diving spots, including the wreck of the HMS Hermes, a WW2 British naval ship.
