Thank you @GNaz for your interest with Pasar Gede Solo at Indonesia,
Iām so interesting too with Mercado de La Boqueria at the center of the Barcelona. It will be many tasty foods there. Cabuk rambak is my favorit food because it is a rare food and you just can find in Solo. It is rice cake (ketupat) with sesame sauce and rice crackers (kerupuk karak). It taste savory, sweet and little spice from the sauce, and cruncy from rice crackers. The sauce is make by garlic, salt, chili, sesame seed, lime leaves. It so deliciuos. Cabuk rambak is for snack or breakfast, because it served with a small size.
I have never heard of this rice cake. I hope I can try it, if I have a chance yo visit your country. Is it possible to buy it from every store or it is special to some places?
I hope you can visit my country @GNaz , and i hope can have a chance to visit your country too. It will be a lot of new experience and fun too. Ketupat or rice cake is not possible to buy in store, may be they have sell the cover of ketupat which is make by woven of young palm leave. But you can make it, if you have the ingredients
and material. Ketupat is make by rice inside woven of young palm leave . Then you take them into boil water. The rice going cook inside the woven of young palm may be 1 hour, and take it, then ketupat ready to serve .
