The next day was dedicated to the Guel Park. In the morning, I took the bus to the Park. The bus leaves Plaza Catalunya every 15 minutes . The duration of the journey 40 minutes . The first impression of the Park is an abandoned stone forest. The grottoes and rock seemed natural. I was alone. Then, when I was climbing the mountain , I met local residents and schoolchildren who were running. I went and remembered the history of the Park . Allegedly, Guel built villas for rich citizens, but they did not want to settle there and the Park was very long neglected.I climbed to the highest point of the Park -the observation deck and a new Barcelona opened up for me , which slowly connected with the sea. Everything was a tiny maze where I wanted to get lost and find myself. A haze of fog or smog crept over the houses and it seemed to me that this city is a Mirage, which everyone has come up with the way they would like to see it . I saw him with the characters in Carlos Safon’s books, and I spent my days in Barcelona as if I were the heroine of his novel.I went down to see the gingerbread houses. The queue was small, the ticket cost about 8 euros per entry. I was quickly admitted to the paid area. I didn’t get much of an impression , apparently I’ve seen it all on the net many times. The gingerbread houses were really small, and the number of people was huge. All mixed up. Sculptures, tourists. So, my advice- from the top of the observation deck - this splendor looks much more pompous. For a long time I did not walk there , I went to each house, climbed the stairs and that’s all. I think Gaudi did not like such a large number of people in his creation)))I got on my bus and went to my new home to cook dinner (I already told you that the food in Barca surprised me with its salt). After a delicious lunch, I went shopping , since I lived on the street where there are a lot of them and bought myself dresses and shirts made of silk. Hardly more detailed description of shopping in this topic someone interresno… After that, I walked around the Gothic quarter without a specific goal , went down to the sea and sat on the beach for a long time coming up with my new story…

Hi, @Sviatlana I hope you enjoy your time in my city Barcelona. Parc GĂĽell is an obligatory visit in Barcelona. Many people say Sagrada FamĂlia is the best GaudĂ structure, but for me, there’s no doubt Parc GĂĽell is much better. What do you think?

@Marina_Tolosa several times during my visit to Barcelona, I went to watch sargada Gaudi in the morning, at night, in the rays of the setting sun. And my soul didn’t respond. Yes cargada Gaudi is the greatest heritage of mankind. I liked Park Guel better. I think Gaudi here embodied something simpler and so it turned out cool.
