The morning was warm and Sunny. I had a delicious omelet Breakfast in the shared kitchen in my apartment and decided to just walk around Barcelona all day. I reached the Plaza Catalunya lowered the Rambla to the sea to the monument of Columbus. Artists have already exhibited their paintings on the Rambla, and living sculptures have attracted the attention of tourists. An d t h en m y a t tention w a s d rawn to the ca ble c ar , h overing o ver the s ea. I t was a d ream to s ee the c ity f rom a bird 's eye view.I went to look for a cash register and my way was long. I was one of the first to go to the checkout window and buy a round-trip ticket (17 euros). The Elevator took us to the funicular tower, where we waited for our car for about 15 minutes . Then we got into the car and rode along the sea on a cable at a very high altitude. I remembered an episode from the book of Safon ( the writer made a deal with the devil). I didn’t have a deal. A promise was made to herself. It’s been 4 years, but I haven 't fulfilled my promise.I was looking at Barcelona. It was so small , but the sea seemed endless. Sagrada de Familia was like a matchbox. We made a stop and went to the final station. I got out and at the funicular stop there was a cafe with a view of Barcelona. I decided to stay , take a couple of glasses of wine, and turn on my music to enjoy this unknown Barcelona.I sat and listened to music for a long time. Until I felt my face burn from the sun. I decided to head back down to the Columbus monument. The queue for the return trip was large and consisted of schoolchildren. When I got down, I decided to go to the Picasso Gallery. It was a good thing she was so close. I’ve loved his work since high school. It happened that it was the 2nd Saturday of the month and tickets to the Museum were free. I spent a couple of hours at the Museum. Who loves his work, he will understand that it is delicious. In the early period, he painted as ordinary portraits, then he painted ceramic dishes. But I love his cubism. This is my understanding of reality. After the Pablo Museum, I walked home through the dark Gothic quarter. I went to the grocery store , bought food for dinner (for pasta with mushrooms). Very tired, I fell asleep at 9 o 'clock and I dreamed of the Gothic quarter with its monsters.
