There are some parks in Seoul. The most popular and famous one is the reiverside park alongside of Han river. Under the suneset, its illumination is pretty.
The view from the Olympic Park toward the Lottetower 123 at night. Olympic Parks has charms in daytime but it has also nice view from the park at night. This park is safe enough even at night because there are many residents nearby come to work out.
Thank you for introducing these parks to the other Guides. I would like to encourage you to maybe provide some more information about the parks and maybe include few more photos so that others can appreciate your post more.
When I lived in Korea, the Han river park was my favorite park to go when summer came. Because of how close it is to the river, you could get some refreshing breeze. I found it really surprising that you can ever order food there and they will find you almost anywhere in the park and deliver without issues. The only problem I experienced was finding a nice place to place our picnic mats because there were too many people. :))
Han river is the long and big river which goes through the city from the east to the west. There are many access points like, Jamsil, Apgujeong, Kwangnaru, Ttukseom, Yoeuido, Mangwon, Jamwon, etc. They also have some convenient stores, coffee shops, baseball play grounds, camping yards, swimming pools, ferry docks, etc. Parking is also available. It is nice place to spend time with family, couples, and friends. Easy to access from the subway nearby. Very good to bike here along with the river. One thing I do here with my overseas’ friends, ordering Korean Fried Chicken! You can order food there and they deliver! Try this funny experience. Highly recommend, specially chicken and Chinese.
As per @LilyanaZ 's advice, I add some more information here instead of creating same kind post…
Olympic Parks has 3 subway stations to access. All of them is less than 3-5 min walk distance from the park.
Mongchontoseong Line 8(Exit 1): Main Gate with national Flags stand side
Olympic Park Line 5: famous Thumb statue entrance
Hanseong Baekje Line 9: Soma Museum and littel train station side
Since this park is quite huge, there are some museums(some of them are free), swimming pool, gym, basket ball playground, little trains for kids, playgrounds, etc. Most of them used for Seoul Olympic Games in 1988. Some stadiums are renovated and using for performances from time to time.
As per LilynaZ’s advice, I add some more information for Olympic Park.
3 subway stations to access,
Mongchontoseong Line 8, Exit 1 near to the Gate and flag stand.
Hanseong Baekje Line 9, to Soma Museum and playground.
Olympic Park Line 5, to the Thumb statue and Gym stadium.
I share some more pictures from several seasons. This park has several museums, swimming pool, basket ball playground, many walk path, hills, flower fields, restaurants, stores, concert yard, etc. It is nice place to visit for a day.
