How ever to conciliate being a hardcore sports aficionado and an impatient temperament?
I’m a native Parisian which makes me inherently on the run, though ultra-connected and web dependent for nearest food and drinks recos, and where to see the game, what channel it plays on.
I had dabbled a little with My Contributions on Google Map but the day I truly turned Local Guide was post-game at Paris Saint Germain stadium: Parc des Princes, and in dire need to see the following Champions League game which was going to determine whether or not PSG would qualify for the next round in its pool.
Google Maps, and many other apps, pointed nowhere. Only one nearby spot was listed as a potential bar equipped with TV and Canal + (our Champions League TV channel at the time) but with no photos or reviews.
I took the chance and it paid off big time: It was the closest joint - 7 min walking distance from the stadium - Called ahead, booked some good meat prior to the kitchen closing and made sure he would show the right game.
The owner had no views, (less than 50 views on his main Google Business page profile pic.) I stepped up, snapped three photos, and, in less than three months, it rose to 17,000 views clearly demonstrating the power of image referencing.
