One day after after have a dinner then drink coffee in a restaurant at Jalan Ahmad Yani, Bogor Indonesia.
A restaurant staff approaching us and ask a little help from us to spent a couple of minutes to fill a Customer Satisfaction Survey form.
He give a A5 papper size with some quetion and some space for the answer and a dull pencil.
Can we talk to your Manager regarding this form.
I ask to meet his Manager, to talk about the survey.
The Manager came with stiff walk and plain face.
I stood up shake his hand and tell him that I have an Idea about Survey.
“No, we don’t want to complain about something”.
We just want to share our knowledge to improve your survey method.
No charge
It won’t take long and it is free.
The managar start to smile.
I ask him to download Google Maps, then search The restaurant name and woilla there is a figure that Customer Satisfaction Score.
We discuss some details in the review.
No need someone to tabulate and count then rewrite the The Customer Satisfaction form and make a Report to The Owner.
We have a conclusion that papper based customer satisfaction survey
The Manager ask if we cain wait and he will introduce the Owner to us.
The Owner and The Manager show up in couple of minutes.
We involve in a warm discussion.

We came to the conclussion taht paper based Customer Satisfaction Survey is not efficient, time consuming and need someone in charge to di tabulating summing, rewriting and make reporting.
With Google Maps The Owner , The Manager and all of the staff can see the result immediately without delay what the customer want and what activities needed to improve it
The Manager thanking to both of us and he promise to stop the paper based survey method and use Google Maps.
We continued small and warm talk and the Owner invite us to visit his hotel in somewhere near Cijeruk and do some review.
