As a permanent resident of Pacitan Regency, East Java, Indonesia, I’m still amazed by how many hidden nature potentials in this area, especially beaches and caves. Pantai Tawang (Tawang Beach) might not be as famous as Pantai Klayar or Pantai Soge, but to me this beach is so special, even though not destined to be a prominent tourism attraction. This beach complex is primarily used for fishery and a port for traditional fishing boats, but the way those boats lined up neatly is definitely mesmerizing.
I love sharing place details of my hometown in Google Maps through Local Guides, especially its tourism attractions and culinary adventures, because it help others to know better about Pacitan, and Indonesia in general. In turn, the accurate information we provide as Local Guides can help minimize disappointments of potential visitors.
