I have been wondering whether other local guides believe it is a good idea or not to use panoramic photos when reviewing a place of interest or not. Occasionally I submit a panoramic photo like when doing a post in Local Guides Connect as a header for example. Modern cameras and phones all have this function available and it would be interesting to hear other guides views on the subject.
I have found that there can be some distortion to the the picture, maybe because it is hand hand held and I have never tried to use a tripod to take a panoramic photos although when I think about it why not?
I like a lot your idea and I think it’s very useful to take more such panorama photos, because we can see more of the place where we are. I’ve tried many times to take panorama photos and that’s one of my last panorama photos that I took. It’s unfortunately a bit dark but it’s because of the weather and because I didn’t want to edit it with additional programs:
I totally agree with @PoliMC about not altering photographs if they come out a little dark due to the weather conditions. That’s the true nature of photography what the camera captures the moment you click the button. I know professional use software programmes to insertnew blue skies and the like but not for me. So I like your panorama picture the way it is.
Yeah, it’s better to show the photo the way you took it, because it’s natural. I like a lot the photo that you uploaded. This place looks very beautiful!

Hi @PoliMC that photo from the beach at Walter Peaks Farm is near the town of Queenstown in New Zealand. Here is one I took on a trip around Europe while staying in Florence a wonderful city to visit
