That was my 1st time when I witnessed Snow and a frozen lake. The lake is situated in the Eastern Sikkim,India. I was the end of February.

I believe I never witnessed a lake that frozen. It’s really extraordinary and the view is very picturesque. There’s no wonder that is so frozen, I just checked that it’s located at an elevation of 3,753 m. Pretty incredible. Is this your first time visiting Tsongmo Lake, @DibyenduGuha ?

@KlaudiyaG No that was my 3rd visit. I was very lucky that time as just 3 days ago of my visit, roads were closed due to heavy snow fall.

@KlaudiyaG Sikkim and North Bengal are the closest hill stations from Kolkata. There are many locations in Sikkim. You can witness different shades of the nature in different seasons.
