Padmini Palace.

Caption Padmini Palace Chittorgarh Rajasthan India.

Rani Padmini who was a Sinhali Princess. And after marriage with Maharana Ratan Singh who passed the eligibility test, she became the favorite queen of Chittor and she was the second wife of Ratan Singh Rawal. For her, a very beautiful palace was built by Maharana Ratan Singh in the middle of the Lake. She was very beautiful and her beauty was praised in the country and abroad. There was a lot of controversy about the Indian film Padmavat. Filmmakers are not concerned with history as the success of the film cannot be ensured without spices. This palace was the main center of attraction for me and my wife as it was the Royal residence of Rani Padmini.

The country’s most important and largest fortification with a painful history of heroic deeds, and our precious heritage, which is our obligation to handle and behold.

A beholder of very classy beauty and extremely beautiful Charming Queen’s summer palace in which everyone gets emotional while entering, because a great tragic and painful history is linked with this beautiful Queen, after knowing, I can never say that it was an exciting visit to see this Palace, which is situated on the South of Suraj Kund at the bank of a tank and across the Kalika Mata Temple Rani Padmini was the second wife of Rana Ratan Singh Rawal, as this Palace was a summer retreat for the Queen otherwise main residence was the Royal Complex which is known as Kumbha Palace. After entrance one will find towards left many small rooms and windows and towards right a hall decorated with arches and in between one Garden is developed. Crossing this again a courtyard and beautiful pavilion and the path leads to the room where the Sultan Alauddin Khilji got the glimpse of Rani Padmini’s reflection in the mirrors which are situated in this room at a certain angle as Queen was sitting on the steps of her Palace built at the centre of the Tank.

He was a brave and noble warrior and loving husband a great ruler, besides he was a lover and patron of art. In his court many artists were there among them a musician Raghav Chetan, who was punished for his notorious activities and was expelled from Chhittor. He moved to Delhi and he attracted Sultan by playing flute, and masterly he narrated the beauty of Rani Padmini, and thus Sultan’s lust leads to this tragic and most unfortunate event, where thousands of lives were end including Ratan singh Rawal and Queen Padmini’s Jauhar this is according to the most popular legend and fact remain still unknown. As he got the Chhittorgarh Fort but not the Queen.

Padmini Palace is most visited attraction situated in this hill fort a World Heritage. It attracts tourists from all classes especially history buffs wanderers soulseekers and art lovers. A very affordable fee is charged to visit this monument.
