I reside in Kolkata, West Bengal. My factory is at Dulhagarh near the city.

One of the most interesting things Google Maps has helped me solve is solving my OXA truck’s pick-up point.
For some time now, I have struggled to explain to the OXA driver the exact locations of my factory.
We ship a lot of goods through the OXA app.

I used to end up giving locations of neighboring flats and schools or landmarks on the call. However, this changed a few days ago when Google Maps gave us an option to ‘Add new places’ to their maps. I took up the opportunity to add the location of my offices and factories - the place from where I ship my goods fom. So now, the OXA drivers know exactly where to come to pick up my goods without much hassles since they get guided by the Google Maps much better now. Such a relief Google!

You appear to be owning a business.

Trust, you are not mixing up the business actions with LG activities.

Nevertheless, if this is the place you are talking about, then the action was incorrect.

There is no other place on Maps named pickup point.

The business is having an online presence only and there is no physical address. This is against the policies.

If not, you can clarify here by sharing a correct link on Maps.

Anyway, in my opinion, adding a pickup point of a business is also an incorrect action.

We add places of interest where customers are attended and not a reference point only for captive use of a business.

I am afraid someone may report both the entries as SPAM.
