My name is Mariana, I am 24 years old and I live in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
In these 24 years of life, I have passed through several places, and have left my country 3 times. I always loved to travel, to visit new places, but I was always very scared. The fear of leaving home and never being able to return, of not seeing my family again. A few days before the trip starts I have panic attacks, I can’t sleep, I get anxious, and I even think about not going anymore. During the flights and until I reach my destination, my body becomes unbalanced. This is very difficult for me.

What helps me to continue are the final destinations and their information. That is why the local guide is very important for me, I feel more secure in knowing details of the place where I am going, of how it is, of seeing recent photos, of the particulars. Knowing that I can also help other people with this information makes me happy. I think about how organized I am, in making dreams come true, and how much my family will be with me even though distant, I can communicate and share everything I see and learn.
Traveling for me is much more than making dreams come true, it is overcoming fears!
